Clinical psychiatrist: modern liberalism is a mental disorder

Dr. Lyle Rossiter’s new book makes a compelling case that liberalism really is a mental disorder.

"Based on strikingly irrational beliefs and emotions, modern liberals relentlessly undermine the most important principles on which our freedoms were founded… Like spoiled, angry children, they rebel against the normal responsibilities of adulthood and demand that a parental government meet their needs from cradle to grave."

While political activists on the other side of the spectrum have made similar observations, Rossiter boasts professional credentials and a life virtually free of activism and links to "the vast right-wing conspiracy."

For more than 35 years he has diagnosed and treated more than 1,500 patients as a board-certified clinical psychiatrist and examined more than 2,700 civil and criminal cases as a board-certified forensic psychiatrist. He received his medical and psychiatric training at the University of Chicago.

Rossiter says the kind of liberalism being displayed by the two major candidates for the Democratic Party presidential nomination can only be understood as a psychological disorder.

"A social scientist who understands human nature will not dismiss the vital roles of free choice, voluntary cooperation and moral integrity – as liberals do," he says. "A political leader who understands human nature will not ignore individual differences in talent, drive, personal appeal and work ethic, and then try to impose economic and social equality on the population – as liberals do. And a legislator who understands human nature will not create an environment of rules which over-regulates and over-taxes the nation’s citizens, corrupts their character and reduces them to wards of the state – as liberals do."

Dr. Rossiter says the liberal agenda preys on weakness and feelings of inferiority in the population by:

* creating and reinforcing perceptions of victimization;
* satisfying infantile claims to entitlement, indulgence and compensation;
* augmenting primitive feelings of envy;
* rejecting the sovereignty of the individual, subordinating him to the will of the government.

"The roots of liberalism – and its associated madness – can be clearly identified by understanding how children develop from infancy to adulthood and how distorted development produces the irrational beliefs of the liberal mind," he says. "When the modern liberal mind whines about imaginary victims, rages against imaginary villains and seeks above all else to run the lives of persons competent to run their own lives, the neurosis of the liberal mind becomes painfully obvious."

Exclusive interview with Kathleen Willey

I was honored with the opportunity to have an exclusive web interview with Kathleen Willey based on her fantastic book "Target"

Question 1)
I’m quite sure when your book hit the scene you were asked to appear all over the media for interviews like Valerie Plame after her book release. (Said with sarcasm)
Can you describe any interesting stories about how the Mainstream Media ignored your book considering you were exposing their hero Bill Clinton?

Well, all I can say is, thank goodness for Sean Hannity, Fox, talk radio and WorldNetDaily. I have done over 150 interviews which is certainly good, but you are right in saying that the reception by the MSM hasn’t been welcoming. The irony is that I am currently working with a publicist who was involved recently with the OJ bio that came out…the reception was better for OJ than for me!

Someone involved with foreign rights books sales from Europe told me that, "Bill Clinton is a hero here in Europe, no one wants to see anything critical of him." I think that applies to the MSM as well.

Question 2)
Have you been contacted by other women whom have considered coming forward to reveal their stories concerning Bill Clinton and what went on in either the Arkansas Governors mansion or the White House? I have wondered IF any women are waiting to come forward with similar stories as yours considering how Hillary is running as the champion of women’s causes.

Over the years I have been contacted by at least 1/2 dozen women with stories to tell about Bill Clinton. Most have not revealed themselves, but contacted me to support me. The fear out there…it’s just amazing. What a chilling, negative impact the Clintons have had on so many lives.

Question 3)
To anyone who has bothered looking at Bill Clinton knows he is a sexual predator. I think a predator will strike when a woman is at her weakest, do you think IF you had walked into his office and had a story of excitement like you had just won the lottery, you and your husband would be retiring to live out your dreams and travel etc etc. and you thanked Clinton for the opportunity at the White House but you must move on. Do you think Bill Clinton would have made "his move" on you?
Or do you think it was because you went into his office vulnerable and off balance that his predator instinct came out and he made his move to attack you?

That’s an interesting question…I just don’t know the answer to that. Maybe Clinton would have thought assaulting me would make my life complete or something, but I don’t have a doubt that if it hadn’t happened right then, it would have happened eventually. He’d had an eye out for me for years.

Question 4)
You were a big Democrat and you described being concerned about the info that was hitting the news about Gennifer Flowers, yet you chose to believe the Clinton’s story. How do you think Democrat women think about your story?
(Examples do you think they blame YOU, think your lying, buy into the money for sleaze excuses the Clinton camp throws at his victims.)

Well, a lot of Democrats who consider themselves feminists certainly don’t believe me…or to be more specific, they choose not to believe me, because they feel that Clinton’s views on abortion are more important than what happens to any individual woman. They have sold their souls on this issue, that’s for sure.

Question 5)
In your book you mention that you had met with several FBI agents concerning your safety. Did any of them ever lead on that they believed the Clinton’s were capable of harming you through their henchmen or were they neutral in how they dealt with you? What I am getting at, did you ever get the impression that they knew far more stories of people being harmed than the public has ever heard about? People that they investigated that chose to keep quite instead of going public.

Well, if you read any of the books about the Clintons that quote State Troopers and other law-enforcement personnel, there are plenty of stories around about the Clintons and their fast-and-loose approach to other peoples’ rights.  And there are certainly bloggers who have "connected the dots" about what seems to be an inordinate number of deaths within the Clintons’ circle. Whether they’re all connected or not, isn’t a question I can answer. But it sure raises some eyebrows.

Question 6)
You describe a very odd environment in the White House while you were working there. I’m curious… I have this impression that Laura Bush makes an effort to be as nice as possible to all employees no matter what department or capacity they are. Did Hillary ever socialize with any of the females in the White House? Can you elaborate on her personality in dealing with people that you witnessed?
I’ve heard stories of how the working stiffs were not allowed to make eye contact with her.

I’ve always likened the White House in the Clinton era to the Animal House fraternity. Their staffers had utterly no respect for the building, much less the office, and of course, when you’re surrounded by chaos, chaotic thinking ensues. As for Hillary and women, as some recent articles like the one by Christopher Hitchens mention, she is far more comfortable with women than with men. Personally I agree with the suggestion that Hillary is afraid of men. She certainly doesn’t like them.

Question 7)
Do you still consider your self a Democrat and vote for Democrats or has yoru experience with the Clinton’s destroyed your faith in what you thought the party stood for?

I’m an independent now. I certainly believe in many of the things that the Democrats used to stand for, but while the Clintons remain the "voice" of the party, I can’t support it without many reservations.

Question 8)
You describe how when Bill Clinton was molesting you in that pantry room and the White House aid was right outside the door calling for Bill Clinton and yet he would not open the door, what do you think he would have done IF you were to call out "Help" do you think he still would have avoided opening the door?

I don’t know. On the one hand, the aide could easily have thought there was something wrong with the President, that he had passed out or something. On the other hand, there may have been a "rule" that underlings were not to trespass under any circumstances. Your guess is as good as mine.

Question 9)
While working in the White House did you know of hear of an intern named  Mary Mahoney? She was found murdered  the night that a reporter  hinted at that a White House intern was involved in a sexual harassement case. The reporter would only say this woman’s had the initial "M". Mary Mahoney had resigned from the White House suddenly and had took a job working in a Starbucks in Washington DC - that night it was "robbed" everyone in the Starbucks was killed and Mary Mahoney was killed execution style. From what I remember it was odd that Janet Reno’s Justice Department got involved "out of the blue" The case to my knowledge has never been solved. Did you know Mary Mahoney or ever hear about her?

I did not know her..

Question 10)
You were pretty hard on Linda Tripp in your book, and maybe rightfully so. But do you think that she in a odd way saved Monica’s life by her meddling with Monica - having her tape record messages and saving the blue dress. Also do you think Linda Tripp could have also helped you out by exposing you to feeling fear of the Clinton’s as things started to unfold - you chose to come forward possibly saving your life instead of having to deal with intimidation for you not to testify. Did Linda Tripp ever confide in you her feelings about the death of Vince Foster - I understand she was the last one to talk to Foster before his death.

Linda did see him on the day that he died and said he was very quiet all day long.

Thank you Kathleen you are a true hero for standing up to the Clinton Machine.

Do yourself a favor and purchase this book!

It was great and really highlights what Bill and Hillary Clinton will once again bring to the White House

Revisit the Clinton Record?

One of the Man from Hope’s consistently amazing lines is that the press doesn’t offer the Clintons enough credit for all their good works. The latest example came on the trail in Keene, N.H., where the Associated Press found him whining about how the press hasn’t underlined the vast chasm in experience between his wife and Barack Obama. "Bill Clinton said Tuesday that if reporters covered the candidates’ public records better, his wife’s presidential bid would be far ahead of her rivals," reported the AP.

Clinton obviously believes his presidency was a Golden Era, a time when peace and prosperity graced America. The Clintons want the press to replay a sort of glowing Harry and Linda Thomason propaganda movie about The Way They Were, with a soundtrack by Barbra Streisand.

Oh, baloney. The last thing Bill or his wife want is for the press to scrutinize their public records. The media have been absolutely AWOL on this front for 15 years. He knows it, just as he knows that his bellyaching about the press will also succeed in keeping them at bay.

How easy it would be to make a list of all the things the press could do to clear the cobwebs with thorough investigations (as opposed to the infrequent and incomplete spurt of a few negative stories). Reporters could draw up a quick list of "old news" about Hillary Clinton’s record of public malfeasance that Bill knows full well have never been resolved:

1. Hillary ordering around the White House staff to fire seven workers in the White House Travel Office for financial mismanagement, with Billy Dale accused of embezzlement. Hillary then lied to a grand jury about how she was not really involved in the firing scheme, even though staffers were writing there would be "hell to pay" if they didn’t do Hillary’s bidding. Billy Dale’s life was ruined. Two years later, it took a jury two hours to acquit him of all charges. Why did she do that? What would voters think, Mr. President?

2. Hillary making a mysterious $100,000 profit off a $1,000 investment in cattle futures with Tyson Foods lawyer Jim Blair making her trades. Was this a bribe for the governor’s wife? It certainly didn’t fit Hillary’s first fairytale explanation: that she made the trades just reading the Wall Street Journal. Would more focus on this still-unresolved scandal help Hillary’s campaign, Mr. President?

3. Hillary’s staffers rifling through Vince Foster’s office for documents in the hours after Foster’s death in Fort Marcy Park. One man seen leaving the scene with documents was White House aide and Hillary protege Craig Livingstone. What was he taking away? Why won’t anyone in your administration give an honest answer, Mr. President?

4. Hillary’s Rose Law Firm records "disappeared," only to reappear in the White House residence after years of requests for documents from the independent counsel investigating her lawyering for her corrupt business partner Jim McDougal. What were they doing right outside Hillary’s private office, Mr. President?

5. Hillary demanding the need for a White House database of friends and enemies. The Clinton White House was found to be in possession of over 1,000 FBI files of Republican White House employees. At the center of the controversy again: Craig Livingstone, who told friends he was Hillary’s hire. Why were they there? How were they used?

In each of these cases — and so many more! — the Clinton-adoring media pulled a collective hamstring and retired before the scandal was ever resolved.

Excerpts from Whitewash

Beginning with an examination of the Gennifer Flowers scandal that broke at the time Bill Clinton was seeking the presidency, Bozell and Graham show how the media leapt to the Clinton’s defense, setting the pattern it would follow from that point on - no matter how well documented the charges against the Clintons were, they were victims of a smear while the accusers were always villains.

Wrote the authors: "reporters knew all along that Bill Clinton was a serial adulterer and therefore also a serial liar about his sham of a marriage. That made Hillary a serial liar of course as she repeatedly aided and abetted that myth with statements of her own. This too, the media accepted."

Perhaps the worst characterization of St. Hillary came from Newsweek’s Evan Thomas, grandson of the late Socialist presidential candidate Norman Thomas. He described Hillary as “a Joan of Arc figure, persecuted for her righteous crusade.”

From the first bimbo eruptions to Hillary’s current campaign for the Democratic Party presidential nomination where the media allows her to dance gracefully away from anything but the softest of questions, “Whitewash” chronicles the career of a woman whose dark side is carefully concealed by a subservient media which all but sanctifies her.

Rush (Limbaugh) summed up it all up: "The drive-by media, as I call them, is a giant cover-up machine for the Clintons. To this day it is participating in helping write a legacy of Bill Clinton because his administration did not produce one that is suitable and positive so the quest goes on to write the positive . . . Hillary is part of it.”

With this invaluable expose, Brent Bozell has broken through the soft curtain the media has kept between Hillary Clinton and the American people. He shows conclusively that the so-called mainstream media cannot be trusted to report the facts about their beloved Hillary, or for that matter, anything else.

The truth is not in them.

Whitewash Review: Hillary’s Scandals Will Re-emerge

James David Dickson of The American Spectator reviewed our book Whitewash on Blogcritics:

"In the general election," counsels Jonah Goldberg, "audiences will remember Whitewater, Travelgate, illegal fundraising, bimbo eruptions and impeachment. If they don’t, you can be sure Republicans will remind them. Fair or not, the Republicans’ intense dislike of Hillary will underscore the idea that a vote for her is a vote for more of the same rancor."

Whitewash is a great place to start in producing this rancor. As to whether conservative journalists will have any success cajoling their mainstream brethren to join them, that, like Hillary’s election next November, is far from inevitable.

Some conservatives have insisted that the Republican nominee can’t win merely by offering negatives about Hillary Clinton scandals, even if Dick Morris did call her "The Tornado" for all the trouble she caused. It’s not up to the GOP to remind people of Hillary scandals. It’s up to the conservative New  Media.

Exposing Clintons’ lies

By R. Emmett Tyrrell Jr. -

The Clinton administration is going to be the most difficult presidency for historians to record accurately. This is because the Clintons are inveterate liars and frauds.

They are not particularly competent — they often get caught. Just the other day, Bill was caught lying about opposing our invasion of Iraq, and before that, his lovely wife, Bruno, was caught lying about a questioner her campaign planted at an Iowa campaign event. However, the Clintons lie so frequently and across such a wide range of matters from the petty (Hillary’s lie about the origin of her name) to the serious (Hillary’s lies about finances) that there is an infinitude of discrepancies for future historians’ ministrations.

Moreover, the Clintons are a part of a historic generational shift. Their left-wing cogenerationists are characterized by stupendous narcissism, amorality and an endless hustle for political advancement. It is not just the Clintons who confuse the historic record — it is all their fellow 1960s Coat and Tie Radicals in the media.

That is why the work of L. Brent Bozell III and his colleague Tim Graham is so valuable. Their Media Research Center has been monitoring the networks and major newsprints for 20 years, doing yeoman service to preserve the truth from the Kultursmog, the political culture that our soi-disant liberals have polluted with their lies, misrepresentations and oversights.

Get Hillary Uncensored TODAY!

DVD with unprecedented home video exposes fraud used to gain power

A revealing, fast-paced and entertaining one-hour documentary with exclusive home videos of Bill and Hillary Clinton that allegedly capture the Democratic presidential front-runner committing crimes in her quest for the Senate and the White House is now available on DVD exclusively from Shop.WND.

"Smoking gun" evidence of Clinton’s multiple violations of federal law in her bid for power is uncovered amid a media and government blackout in "Hillary Uncensored," which tells the star-studded story of Hollywood dot.com mogul Peter Franklin Paul’s civil fraud suit against the Clintons.

The film’s story continues to unfold as the Clintons, along with leading figures in the Democratic Party and Hollywood, will be forced to testify under oath ahead of a trial in the coming year.

Paul presents compelling evidence President Clinton destroyed his entertainment company – Stan Lee Media – to get out of a $17 million deal in which he promised to promote the firm in exchange for stock, cash options and massive contributions to his wife’s 2000 campaign. Paul contends he was directed by the Clintons and Democratic Party leaders to foot the bill for a lavish Hollywood gala and fundraiser prior to the 2000 election that eventually cost him nearly $2 million.

The documentary opens with scenes from the gala – the largest private concert ever – with Cher singing to an audience of the Democratic Party’s top leaders and A-list entertainers such as Brad Pitt and John Travolta, who were there to salute President Clinton and contribute to Hillary Clinton’s first Senate campaign.

Paul provided five hours of home video to the film producers to document his contention that the Clintons reneged on the deal after the Washington Post published a story about his past felony convictions. The Clinton campaign, he said, then proceeded to cover up his massive contributions and act as if they didn’t know him. Later, according to Paul’s lawsuit, then-President Clinton, working through his aides, maneuvered to destroy Paul’s company, essentially releasing Clinton from any obligation.

The most sophisticated, ruthless political machine in the history of man

There is so much evidence of Hillary Clinton’s corruption, you’d think even a reporter for a mainstream news outlet would have to stumble over enough to write or talk about it.  But ever since her husband popped up on the national scene, the media has downplayed every scandal. Now, a  new book on the Democratic presidential frontrunner examines why Hillary became a media darling before she even set foot in the White House.

Media Research Center President L. Brent Bozell’s “Whitewash: What the Media Won’t Tell You About Hillary Clinton, but Conservatives Will” details the media’s efforts to protect the Clintons again and again.  The White House travel office mess, “Filegate” and so many more illegal activities are shown in terms of the media’s enormous efforts to protect the Clintons.  Bozell, whose MRC is famous for documenting media bias, shows how the Clintons were protected regardless of the nature of the offense, ranging from  Bill’s offenses against his family to the abuses of power that best characterized the Clinton years.

Bozell spoke with bloggers yesterday at the Heritage Foundation about his research for the book, which compiles most of the lies and controversies in Hillary’s past – such as her business relationships with Webster Hubbell and Craig Livingstone — many of which her supporters seem to disregard.

“People either say…I had no idea or I had forgotten,” said Bozell, adding that he wrote the book to help conservatives see why the American people still support Hillary in spite of her past.

Bozell asks how Hillary became the Democrat to beat — when her personal political experience is minimal and marked with deception. Readers will recall shady business of the 1990’s, such as her involvement in Whitewater and "Travelgate."

Another Clinton book, but with something new to add

Like most marriages, the union between Bill and Hillary Clinton is a mystery, only more so. Is there any other that we know more about yet understand less? How could he do it? Why did she stay?

Now comes the first of the Clinton books to focus exclusively on the relationship. "For Love of Politics: Bill and Hillary Clinton: The White House Years" by Sally Bedell Smith, mines every piece of data from the first "two-for-the- price of one" presidency for the light it sheds on what the second might be like.

Smith puts Hillary Clinton in every frame, and at 572 pages covers everything from the early fumbles like gays in the military to triumphs such as Northern Ireland to the biggest misstep of all, Monica Lewinsky. If she shows Bill lingering on a rope line, or playing a late game of hearts in the solarium, she shows the disciplined Hillary backstage tapping her foot or calling it a night at 10 p.m.

During the first foreign trip, to the Group of Seven meeting in Tokyo, Hillary took her mother along and attended Kabuki theater and a tea ceremony. It wouldn’t be long before she’d keep a separate but nearly equal schedule to her husband’s with her own press corps.

Smith scores coups getting interviews with aides who had ringside seats and had been quiet until now, including former Health and Human Services Secretary Donna Shalala and press secretary Dee Dee Myers.

Shalala warned Hillary not to grab a policy post but recalls the first lady "thought she was part of earning the presidency, and she wasn’t about not to share the opportunity." Thus, we got a health-care diva who produced a 1,300-page bill in secret. This earned her the distrust of lions of the Senate such Daniel Patrick Moynihan, which assured her failure.

Moynihan, who once called for an independent counsel on the Whitewater affair, came around on Hillary long enough to allow her to come to his farm to announce her bid to succeed him in a Senate seat from a state she had only visited as a tourist.

Not so Moynihan’s wife and campaign manager, Liz, who at the outset of Clinton’s unprecedented Senate run, scolded her, "You lie about what happens…You mislead people. You haven’t taken advice."

One of Shalala’s more notable portraits is of a Bible- toting Hillary, who went around Arkansas preaching "What It Means to Be a Methodist," matching the saltiest language of sailors in private.

Hillary’s First Law Case: “Let Them Eat Rat!â€

Given that Mrs. Bill Clinton likes to talk about her 35 years of “public service,” it might be instructive to look back at her early days as a working lawyer at the Rose Law Firm, as well as her stint at the Legal Services Corporation.

First some excerpts from the somewhat reverential biography, A Woman In Charge, by Carl Bernstein, pp 130-132:

Making Arkansas Home

A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hillary Rodham ClintonTHE ATMOSPHERE at the Rose Law Firm was not always welcoming. Some secretaries made disparaging comments about Hillary out of her presence. Much of the gossip was about her appearance, and some reflected obvious envy of an accomplished woman in an executive position.

Even her own secretary mocked Hillary’s attempts at creating a career woman image: “At first, she didn’t wear stockings and the old ladies in the firm were horrified. She was a comic figure as a lady lawyer. Her hair was fried into an Orphan Annie perm. She had one large eyebrow across her forehead that looked like a giant caterpillar. We laughed until we cried. She tried to look good when she went to court, and she would put on some awful plastic jewelry. She’d be wearing high heels she couldn’t walk in. There wasn’t one stereotypically womanly or feminine thing about her.”

Hillary’s weight was a regular topic of conversation, spurred by her inability to shed the few pounds that would have made her more attractive. “She was on a perpetual diet. She would show up for work with a big bag of lettuce and eat out of it all day,” said her secretary

Hillary’s manner with other members of the firm and their clients could be intimidating—not because she was particularly aggressive, but because she was rarely, if ever, deferential. It had never been her style nor would it ever be. “In our morning meetings she didn’t hold her tongue,” Hubbell noted. “She was simply never intimidated by anyone, partner or client, and that in itself is often intimidating to others.” Would a new associate who was male be judged on similar grounds? Probably not, and it took Hillary a long time to feel at ease in Little Rock and at Rose, except with Vince and Webb—the Three Amigos, as they came to refer to themselves…

Despite the sometimes tense atmosphere, Hillary came to enjoy her workdays, largely because of her relationship with Foster and Hubbell. They poked fun at her intensity, tutored her in the traditions of the capital (and how she might take advantage of them), and looked out for her like a little sister. The three often went to lunch together at the Lafayette Hotel. Sometimes they watched lingerie shows there, a popular form of lunchtime entertainment of the era, in which models from upscale lingerie stores showed off nightgowns and their bodies. Hillary simply laughed at her two partners and told them what Neanderthals they were…
