This information is going to haunt Hillary’s Presidential Campaign IF anyone chooses to confront her with it.

Since he left office in 2001, former president Bill Clinton has been paid by InfoUSA, an Omaha, Nebraska company that has been identified as a key provider of specially designed databases that are sold to criminals who use the detailed information to defraud the unsuspecting elderly.

Because Senate financial disclosure rules do not require Hillary Clinton to reveal exactly how much — or for what — the company has paid her husband over the past five years, we don’t know all the details. But we do know this: former presidents – especially Bill Clinton – don’t come cheap. And, just months after he left the presidency, Bill Clinton was paid $200,000 for a speech given to InfoUSA in Omaha. Since then, he has been paid an undisclosed amount each year, listed only as "more than $1000" for ‘non-employee compensation" on Senator Clinton’s Senate financial disclosure form.

According to the The New York Times, InfoUSA compiled and sold lists that disclosed the names of elderly men and women who would be likely to respond to unscrupulous scams. The lists left no doubt about the vulnerability of the elderly targets. The Times reported, for example, that InfoUSA advertised lists of "Elderly Opportunity Seekers," 3.3 million older people "looking for ways to make money," and "Suffering Seniors," 4.7 million people with cancer or Alzheimer’s disease. "Oldies but Goodies" contained 500,000 gamblers over 55 years old, for 8.5 cents apiece. One list said: "These people are gullible. They want to believe that their luck can change."

InfoUSA sold lists to companies that were under investigation or closed down by courts because of their criminal activity. The company’s internal emails show that employees were aware that the investigation for elderly fraud involved their customers, but sold the lists anyway. The Times profiled one unfortunate 92 year old man who entered a sweepstake sponsored by InfoUSA. The information that he innocently provided was then sold to the predator marketers. After responding to their telemarketing calls seeking financial information, his entire life savings was stolen from his bank account at Wachovia Bank. These practices, using lists supplied by InfoUSA were repeated all over the country.

Last week, Hillary Clinton sought and obtained an extension of time to file her presidential candidate financial disclosure statement. Unlike the information required of Senators, this filing requires her to list not just the sources of Bill’s income but exactly how much they paid him. While Senator Clinton offered no reason for the postponement, one cannot help wondering if a desire to conceal InfoUSA’s payments to her husband while the company is under fire.

The relationship between Bill Clinton and Vinod "Vin" Gupta, the CEO and Chairman of InfoUSA is both long-standing and deep. A frequent Clinton donor, he has stayed in the Lincoln Bedroom, admitted to donating $1,000,000 to the Clinton Library and told the press that he’d consider an additional donation. Again, since the Clintons refuse to disclose who donated money to the library, we don’t know the total that he actually gave. In late 1999, Gupta gave $2,000,000 for Hillary Clinton’s Millennium New Year’s Eve bash. (They party cost $16 million and was closed to the press!)

The links between Gupta and the Clintons are extensive:

- Gutpa raised over $200,000 for Hillary’s Senate campaigns and contributed thousands to the DNC and Democratic House and Senate campaigns.

- InfoUSA was one of the sponsors of the Aspen Festival of Ideas last summer where Bill and Hillary Clinton both spoke.

- Gupta built the Bill Clinton Science & Technology Center and the Hillary Clinton Mass Communications Center in his hometown of Rampur, India

- Bill and Gutpa traveled to India together

- Gupta reportedly paid for a golf outing for Bill at a legendary Scottish course

- InfoUSA appointed Terry McAuliffe, the Clinton’s longtime money man to the Board of Directors of its subsidiary company videoyellowpagesusa.com

- Clinton appointed Gupta to the Kennedy Center Board of Trustees only a few days before he left office

- Clinton also nominated Gupta as Consul General of Bermuda and U.S. Ambassador to Fiji, but Gupta was never confirmed

- Gupta’s company co-sponsored the 2006 Clinton Global Initiative

- Gupta sent a $7000 treadmill to Chappaqua days after the Clintons left the White House. After the NY Post disclosed the gift, the Clintons returned the gift.

Gupta’s generosity to the Clintons is only matched by his generosity to himself. InfoUSA has lately been attacked by some of its shareholders, particularly by the Greenwich, Connecticut company Cardinal Capital that went after Conrad Black. Lord Black is now on trial in Chicago for corporate fraud.

Cardinal Capital objected to Gupta’s purchase of a $600,000 skybox at the University of Nebraska, his family’s charges of $13.5 million in private jet charges, and $2.5 million for the long term lease of a yacht – all with corporate funds.

In addition to his 2001 visit to the company’s headquarters, Bill Clinton was back there to speak at a conference on privacy issues in September 2006. Senator Clinton’s disclosure statement for that period has not been publicly released, so we don’t know how much he was paid.

This connection between the Clintons and InfoUSA only underscores the necessity of full disclosure of income sources and amounts by all the presidential candidates and the release of their income tax returns, a step Mrs. Clinton has, thus far, refused to take.

On Wednesday, May 24th, we learned the meaning of the word "hypocrisy." The Senate voted 80-14 to approve funding for the next two months in Iraq without any restrictions or mandated withdrawal of troops. Thirty-eight Democrats voted to fund our troops, including Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV). But three of the four Democrats who are running for president — Hillary Clinton (D-NY), Barack Obama (D-Ill), and Chris Dodd (D-CT) — all voted with eleven other Senators to deny funding to the war.

If they weren’t running for president, perhaps Barack Obama and Chris Dodd, who have long been in opposition to the war, would have voted against funding anyway. But would Hillary Clinton have voted with the minority to cut off funds? Not on your life! Only Joe Biden (D-Del) had the integrity to vote the way he would normally have voted were he not a candidate and backed the appropriations bill.

The hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton in voting against funding is stunning. In 2002, she voted for the war. When we found no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, she reaffirmed her backing for the war. Dozens of times she has stated and restated that she would never agree to a timetable for withdrawal and that she would never vote to cut off funding while we had troops in harm’s way. Now she has gone back on all her nevers and cast precisely the vote she said she would never cast.

As recently as January 17th, Hillary said "I’m not going to cut American troops’ funding right now – they’re in harm’s way." She went onto say "I am not for imposing a date – certain withdrawal date."

In the past ten days she has not only voted for a withdrawal date but has also voted to cut off funding for the troops if no such date is included in the legislation.

What has changed? The polls. Surveys show Democrats supporting a funding cutoff and a date certain for withdrawal by 3:1. With John Edwards running to Hillary’s left, using her timidity in opposing the war as the raison d’etre of his candidacy, Hillary dared not vote her conscience or conform to her previous positions on the war. She had to back the left to prove her bona fides for the primaries.

Looking at the excerpts from the new books on Hillary Clinton (see below) it is interesting what these (liberal) authors have written. It highlights how ridiculous it is to believe in Hillary’s own memoir where she claims "I could hardly breath" when you read all of the insiders whom whom would be in a position to know that Hillary was always aware of who Bill was cheating with. She made it her point to go along - to get to higher office. It is known that she hired private investigators to look into Bill’s affairs. Many people think that she was trying to find out IF he was having an affair - I disagree, she was trying to find out IF a PI could find out so she could gauge how her political enemies could find out.

Hillary plotted to destroy Bill’s bimbos, even interviewing them herself:

While in Arkansas, according to Bernstein, she personally interviewed one woman alleged to have had an affair with her husband, contemplated divorce and thought about running for governor out of anger at her husband’s indiscretions.

"Her Way: The Hopes and Ambitions of Hillary Rodham Clinton," by Jeff Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr., reports that during her husband’s 1992 campaign, a team she oversaw hired a private investigator to undermine Gennifer Flowers "until she is destroyed." Flowers had said publicly that she had an affair with Bill Clinton while he was governor of Arkansas.

Remember Flowers tried to bring a lawsuit against Hillary for trying to destroy her.

Gennifer Flowers may proceed with a lawsuit that accuses Hillary Rodham Clinton of conspiring with two men to defame her during the 1992 presidential election campaign, a federal judge in Las Vegas has ruled.

U.S. District Judge Philip Pro dismissed Flowers’ lawsuit nearly three years ago, but the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco reinstated the case in November.

Flowers filed a fourth version of her lawsuit in February against Clinton, former presidential aides James Carville and George Stephanopoulos, and book publisher Little, Brown & Co. The lawsuit’s claims include defamation, false light and conspiracy. More here

Had Monica Lewinsky NOT saved that DNA stained Blue Dress, Hillary Clinton’s hit team would have destroyed her! Remember how everyone reacted to Monica saving that dress and how odd it was she didn’t get it cleaned? I think Monica know’s more about what was going on in that White House than people realize. Remember this statement by Moncia to Linda Tripp that was captured on a recording?

She was discussing this matter with Miss Tripp, "that the least of my concerns is about whether or not I get a good job–all the people around these folks, some of them wind up dead?" She expressed a concern that the folks who cross the White House have bad things happen to ’em.

Bill Clinton was ready to divorce Hillary to be with one of his lovers, according to a book out next month.

The marriage crisis is said to have ended with his wife talking him out of the move, telling a friend "there are worse things than infidelity".

The story is among a string of revelations in two books detailing Mrs Clinton’s rise to the U.S. Senate and her push for the presidency.

Both works document her husband’s many affairs when he was governor of Arkansas.

Carl Bernstein claims in A Woman in Charge: The Life of Hillary Rodham Clinton that the love of the former president’s life was business executive Marilyn Jo Jenkins.

According to the Watergate journalist, Miss Jenkins was spirited into the governor’s mansion for a final, furtive meeting with him the day he left to claim the White House.

Miss Jenkins is said to have played such a "pivotal role" in Mr Clinton’s life that in 1989 he offered to divorce Hillary to be with her.

The ensuing crisis apparently led to Betsey Wright, Mr Clinton’s chief of staff, taking him to see a therapist.

Mrs Clinton later told her best friend Diane Blair that she believed the presidency would help her marriage because her husband’s "sexual compulsions would be tempered by the White House and the ever-present press corps".

As Mr Bernstein makes clear, in light of the Monica Lewinsky scandal that turned out to be "a flawed assumption".

In the 640-page book, Bob Boorstin, who worked for Mrs Clinton when she was trying to restructure the nation’s healthcare system, blamed her for the collapse of her own plans.

"I find her to be among the most self-righteous people I’ve ever known," he told Mr Bernstein. "It’s her great flaw."

Mark Fabiani, who defended the Clintons as White House counsel, said Hillary was "so tortured by the way she’s been treated that she would do anything to get out of the situation.

"If that involved not being fully forthcoming, Mr Fabiani said she would say: ‘I have a reason for not being forthcoming.’"

The second book, Her Way: The Hopes and Ambitions of Hillary Rodham Clinton by New York Times reporters Jeff Gerth and Don Van Natta Jr, claims that Mrs Clinton hired a private detective to investigate one of her husband’s mistresses.

According to the book, she ordered the detective to undermine Gennifer Flowers "until she is destroyed".

The incident took place when Mr Clinton was running for president in 1992.

Her Way: The Hopes and Ambitions of Hillary Rodham Clinton looks in detail at Mrs Clinton’s Senate vote in support of the Iraq war, suggesting she may have been motivated by a desire not to abandon her husband’s toughon-Iraq policy and a need "to prove that she was tough".

Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson declined to comment on the question of whether the campaign leaked to The Washington Post a copy of one of two forthcoming biographies of Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton. And though there’s no confirmation that the Clinton campaign leaked either book, there is at least some circumstantial evidence that points that way.

“The only people who have an interest in putting it out on a Friday before Memorial Day are the Clinton folks,” said Chris Lehane, a veteran of Clinton White House damage control. 

The use on Clinton’s website of passages from one book also appeared to confirm that the campaign had a copy of the book in its possession. 

Meanwhile Philippe Reines, Clinton’s spokesman, drew chuckles inside the Beltway for his canned response to the books: “Is it possible to be quoted yawning?”

First Hillary votes for the war when public opinion is for the war, then years of the Liberal Media reporting only the negatives of the war, Hillary is now afraid of the anti-War kooks in MoveOn.org. It’s humorous to see Hillary dance all over this issue. Her strategy was to run as the most "Moderate Candidate (even though her voting record places her as one of the most Liberal of Democrats) so she could capture the middle of the road crowd. The media at every opportunity describes her as the moderate candidate to try to fool voters in the middle, like Independents. Now Hillary is so afraid of the wacky MoveOn.org crowd and Obama and Edwards anti-war stance that she has chosen to tack to the extreme left on this controversial vote.

Clinton had refused to say how they would vote, but ultimately sided with opponents of the increasingly unpopular war. Liberal advocacy groups like MoveOn.org had warned Democrats who backed the measure of possible political consequences.

Republican presidential contenders John McCain and Mitt Romney blasted Obama and Clinton for not supporting U.S. troops — a criticism likely to linger into next year’s general election campaign and the November 2008 vote for the White House.

Several years ago, NBC’s Tom Brokaw wrote a book, The Greatest Generation, a tribute to the Americans who fought in WW2. The book also captures the experience of a generation that lived through the depression, and chronicles the contributions they made in Post-war America. I’m not trying to rain on anyone’s parade, but there’s one good reason they don’t deserve the title “Greatest”, and that’s for the fact that they were the generation that gave birth to The Worst Generation, the baby boomers. An ambiguous definition qualifies a baby boomer is anybody born between 1946-1964, but I specify that in order to be a true baby boomer, your parents had to have been adults during the war years. If your parents were adolescents or teenagers from 1939-1945, you are not a baby boomer. I put that in there so as to distance myself, and my siblings, from the boomers. We are different animals.

They were raised by parents determined to pamper them, my generation was not. Our parents didn’t fight in the war, but they also didn’t return to glory and entitlement, like there’s did. I think that my generation carried on the traditions of our parents and grandparents religion, patriotism and work ethic. The boomers rejected it. Worse, they tried to destroy it. Though we may be separated only by a mere decade, we are polar opposites.

What went wrong? How could it come to pass that the “Greatest Generation” gave birth to the worst generation, who in turn unleashed a generation of Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris sociopaths on the rest of us? The answer in it’s most simplest form is this; The boomers acquired a sense of entitlement from their parents. Their parents earned it through their sacrifice in WW2. The American economy exploded in the 1950’s, the wealth creation set a precedent never seen before or since in our history. The water eventually crested, leaving it’s indelible mark on the psyche of that generation. They had the best schools, the best hospitals, the best jobs, the best neighborhoods, the best cars, the best everything. Never again would they want, and never again would they be deprived. Tragically, they are now killing America with their sense of entitlement.

Social Security and Medicare are bankrupting the nation. The boomers are all in their fifties now. Many of them are already retiring from the workforce. Their parents are in their eighties. They are all being subsidized, in one form or another, by the American taxpayer, who is the hapless, helpless victim of a political shakedown scheme called wealth transfers. The “greatest generation” and their brood of baby boomers have also infected  other demographics of people with their sense of entitlement. For example, some Parents are having their children medically diagnosed with arbitrary disabilities so as to collect social security payments. They pump their children up with brain candy, all for the sake of feeding at the government trough.

So which of the three living ex-presidents costs taxpayers the most money? The most recent to become a former president, Bill Clinton, according to the Congressional Research Service’s latest figures.

The globe-trotting former president with the New York office and a worldwide charitable enterprise is seeking $1.16 million in taxpayer money for fiscal 2008. That is more than double the amount requested by fellow Democrat Jimmy Carter and substantially more than that by Republican George H.W. Bush.

Clinton’s office makes no apologies, saying taxpayers are getting a bargain. "Given his tireless work on behalf of the U.S. government abroad with the tsunami and state funerals, including leading the U.S. delegation to Boris Yeltsin’s recent funeral, his work at home with Hurricane Katrina recovery, and his vigorous charitable foundation work to fight AIDS, climate change and childhood obesity, I’d say the American people are getting more than their money’s worth from President Clinton," spokesman Jay Carson said.

Clinton’s office blames much of the cost on New York City’s pricey rents, noting that his Harlem neighborhood office costs half a million dollars a year, far more than Bush’s Houston office ($175,000) and Carter’s Atlanta digs ($102,000). "Thanks in no small part to the Clinton economic boom of the ’90s, rent in Manhattan isn’t cheap in any neighborhood," Carson said.

Ummm - didn’t HE choose that office location as a cheaper version of what he first wanted - only AFTER the public balked? And from what I understand - he is hardly ever there.

The media is helping Hillary Clinton market herself not as the "dedicated, unapologetic liberal" that she is, but as a middle-leaning moderate, says Bay Buchanan.
